Judy Beydler was born in Kansas and learned to sew through 4-H and high school home economics. Her first quilting class was in Dallas, Texas in 1989. She moved to Italy in early 1990 when her husband was transferred there. She completed her first quilt in 1995 after returning to Dallas. She has enjoyed taking classes to improve her technique, and has been active as a quilter since then.
She and her husband Calvin moved to California in 1999 and currently live in San Diego. She is a member of the Canyon Quilters guild in San Diego, the Quilter's Guild of Dallas, and McPherson, KS, quilt guild. |
