I am one of five children, I have two brothers and two sisters, but I really don't think gender has anything to do with face making ability! All five of us were rather talented at face making, especially crossing our eyes. So, "Keep making that face and it will get stuck that way " was a common statement of my mom's. I remember her telling us this at a very young age where it became almost a challenge to see how long we could make and hold a face before it stuck. Fortunately young children are easily distracted otherwise our family picture would look a lot like my quilt!
