Since I was very young I have enjoyed working with fabric. I started quilting many years ago with traditional patterns and quilting methods. I soon found that I didn’t enjoy just doing what everyone else was doing.

Working as a costume designer, it taught me to realize that the traditional way is not the only way to get things done. So I began designing my own quilts and trying my own techniques. I found that stained glass quilting gave a strong accent to designs and I could use the intense colors I enjoy. I have tried many different methods of stained glass quilting and have many more to develop and try. Since 1991 I have been creating one-of-a-kind stained glass and appliqué quilts. I started my own pattern design and teaching business in 1993. My quilts have been published in several magazines and displayed in the USA and around the world.
