What Do You Call a Line of Rabbits Walking Backwards?By Colleen Curry

For a long time I have wanted to dedicate a quilt to my husband. So when I saw this riddle in Marc Brownās book "What do you call a Dumb Bunny?" (a riddle book for children about rabbits) I decided to make the quilt. Just before I began to pull the fabric together, I saw the call for entries for this challenge. I sent for the rules, and presto (almost!), a quilt for my husband and the challenge all rolled into one. The fact that I find balding men sexy never entered into the process.
The size of his mustache and head are exaggerated a bit, but hey, thatās artistic license, isnāt it? Sure, his eyes are blue, but they donāt cross. Iāve always enjoyed the cute, playful nature of rabbits, so why not put them across the top of my husbandās head? They looked cute, he looked astonished - and I got a happy idea for a quilt! |
