Suzanne Weeks

I have been enjoying the art of crazy quilting since 1994. It was my love for embroidery and sewing that drew me to this form of expressing my creative self. It has only been in this past year that I have entered art pieces to be judged publicly. Quilt art has served as a therapy to release the stress of being a full time teacher to young children with autism along with raising two teenaged children.

This is my second art piece to be entered in a public challenge. My first art piece will be displayed in the 2005 Quilting arts Calendar. Additional art pieces are displayed in Cali, Columbia and Haifa, Israel at Bahaâi Centers. Generally, my art pieces are inspired by nature and spiritual principles from the Bahaâi Faith.
