Challenge is my second name! I have been making quilts for years on and off, but when I picked it up again, I knew I wanted to make art quilts. I am not selling my quilts presently, but just make them for my own personal growth and enjoyment. The challenge is a good format for me because it gives me a deadline and a strong focus to work from. I also enjoy using thrift store fabrics and findings along with my other fabrics because every piece of thrift store fabric feels as though it has a story behind it, and that adds extra dimension to the meaning in my quilts.
