Ask any quilter and they'll probably be able to tell you when they got hooked. I began crafting fabric art as a child (little fabric ornaments that still adorn my parents' Christmas tree).
During college I created my first quilts but I applied my creativity to elementary education for many years after graduation. Motherhood and a couple of quilting classes brought me back to the fabric artistry I love. That's when I took over the dining room. I enjoy traditional quilting but I've recently ventured into the realm of art quilts. The huge variety of fabric, thread and design choices provides endless possibilities and pure joy for any passionate quilter. Quilting nourishes my soul and has become a journey that I happily embrace and hope will inspire others.
